Assault

Your Shotgun is deadly at the same range that the Assault Rifle does the most damage, dodge and infuriate the Assault until he gets close enough for a kill. On the other hand, the Hurt/Heal Gun is excellent to use on a fleeing Assault.

Tanks and Support don't usually battle. Try to avoid a Tank, as they can dispatch you as easily as an Assassin can kill a Sniper.

Other Support can be annoying. If you both have the Hurt/Heal Gun, it's up to whoever can pull the trigger earliest. Since the title update, the rate of hurt/heal has been lessened but now affected by the Rate of Fire endorsement, so it could lead to whoever has a better endorsement. That, or leading the other into more hazards like an Ejector, a group of bots line of fire, or a turret/Firebase. You can also counter a Hurt/Heal gun user with a shotgun to the face if he is within range.

Assassin

Assassins fear your Shotgun, use that fear. If you survive an Assassination, take out the Assassin with a shell or three to the head.

Your Hurt/Heal gun cannot harm an Assassin if they're cloaked. It will, however, point out the Assassin's position with a quick strand before deactivating. Use this to your advantage.

The "AmmoMule" strategy usually works. The basic premise is to use a Firebase as a distraction, and after the Gunner has taken damage from your turret, take him out with your shotgun.

Sniper

A Sniper's dream target is a Support. Since Supports usually stay at their base, they can be easy kills. If you notice a Sniper, go along the edge of the map and take him out with your Shotgun, or an Airstrike.

BotsEdit

Slim

Slims will go down fast to the hurt function of your Hurt/Heal gun, and the Firebase will make quick work of them.

vs Icemen BlackJack
Black Jack

The quickest way to deal with a single BlackJack is to switch to your secondary shotgun and grapple them. The Firebase can do fairly well against them, and an Airstrike will heavily damage or destroy small groups.

vs Icemen Bouncer
Bouncer

Do not stick an Airstrike on a Bouncer, or you'll likely kill yourself with it. If not near your Firebase or allies, jump when it tries to grab you then grapple it back.

vs Icemen Buzzer
Buzzer

If your Firebase is nearby, it'll probably shoot them down before you're even aware of their presence. Their poor health means that the hurt function of the Hurt/Heal Gun will also kill them almost instantly.

vs Icemen Gremlin
Gremlin

These bots can be a handful. About the only effective weapon you'll have against them is your Heal/Hurt Gun, which works on even cloaked Gremlins, but its relatively slow action makes handling the bunches of them that usually appear difficult, even with constant backpedaling. The Shotgun is usually too slow, the Firebase (and any other turret) can only attack them when they uncloak, and trying to hit them with an Airstrike is a gamble.

vs Icemen Gapshot
Gap Shot

Gapshots will shell base turrets and destroy them quickly if not dealt with. If you're feeling aggressive, you can simply grapple them. A more defensive approach is to attempt to hit them with an Airstrike from medium range.

The Support's skills have a long cooldown, even with the proper endorsements, so stay away from these bots when possible. Airstrikes are the safest way to take them out. It's also possible to damage them with the Hurt/Heal gun at its maximum range and not have your skills drained, but is riskier.

vs Icemen Jackbot
Jackbot XL

Directly, Supports don't have much of a chance against a Jackbot. Jackbots will however, target your Firebase if it's in their path, allowing you to heal the Firebase while it damages the Jackbot. The Jackbot's cannons will knock you back, so attempting a Hack on a turret that is taking damage usually results in failure. Upgraded Airstrikes can deal moderate damage to Jackbots, and their large bodies make it easy to stick the beacons on them. If it's looking bad, you can always Juice and damage the Jackbot with the Heal/Hurt Gun, just be sure to jump over the slams.

TurretsEdit

vs Lazer Blazer Level 3 concept art
Lazer Blazer

If your aim is to destroy one, a single Airstrike should destroy a level 1 or 2 turret. A level 3 turret will likely take 2 Airstrikes to destroy.

If you want to Hack one, either use Juice so you can survive being shot by it while hacking, or start your Hack when it's distracted by some of your own bots. If your Hack is successful, you should expect your opponents to be ready to destroy it since it is a low cost turret.

vs RockIt Level 3 concept art
RockIt

If your aim is to destroy one, it will take 2 to 3 Airstrikes just to take out a level 1 turret. Level 2 and 3 turrets will survive Airstrikes unless is was previously damaged. It is possible to Juice and lock on to a RockIt with your Hurt/Heal Gun, but is a risky option.

If you wish to Hack one, you will need either your own bots nearby to distract it, or Juice before approaching to Hack. If your Hack is successful, it will cause serious problems for the other team. Its high damage and armor make it difficult for them to destroy and a priority target. Because of its high cost, the other team may attempt to counter-Hack it, especially if it is level 2 or 3.

vs ShaveIce Level 3 concept art
ShaveIce

If you want to destroy one, be aware of what other turrets may be nearby. Level 1 turrets can go down to 2 Airstrikes, and level 2 turrets should go down to 3 Airstrikes. Level 3 turrets are too heavily armored to be taken out with Airstrikes alone unless it has previously taken damage. If the turret is alone, you could simply just use either of your weapons to destroy it.

If you wish to Hack one, there is usually no need to have nearby bots or to use Juice. While a Hacked ShavIce doesn't do damage, your opponents will soon be surprised and annoyed that they and their bots are being slowed to a crawl within their own base. If your team has Assassins, and they are being effective at harassing the enemy, they may try to counter-hack it. Otherwise they may simply destroy it.

vs Longshot concept art
Long Shot

If the enemy Supports are Hacking their own Longshots, they will likely be shelling your base and bots. Their low armor means that level 1 and 2 turrets should go down from a single Airstrike, though a level 3 turret may require 2. Their lack of short-range fire also leaves them vulnerable to short range weapons like your Shotgun.

If you want to Hack one, there shouldn't be need to Juice, though having your team's bots nearby may help in distracting other players. If the Hack is successful, it will likely start to shoot at the turrets on the other side of the base. The moderate cost of the turret and low armor means that while it can be easily destroyed by opponents, they may try to counter-hack it if it is level 2 or 3. If it is level 1 though, they will more likely just destroy it.
